Please note, in this course there will be a quite a bit of homework! This is not like the Burlyflexx Group Course where I choreograph your routine. My role in this course will be to teach you the elements of a burlesque act, take you through the process of how to make it, give suggestions, feedback, advice and guide you through your own creative process.

This course is a safe space for any person who genuinely who wants to learn about burlesque. All genders, ages, ethnicities, and LGBTQIA+ welcome!

You don’t have to have any dance experience however I do recommend popping into one of my Burlesque classes at One Playground to say hi and start to get familiar with the movement of burlesque.

I love Burlesque. To me Burlesque is FREEDOM. It is the freedom to express yourself, your sensuality, your art (your body!) and your views on the world. My absolute favourite part of burlesque is that is not only celebrates individuality but it demands it.
